Its corporate office is located in the city of Peligros, Spain. It also has branches in Portugal and Morocco. The company's first business experience outside Spain was in Portugal in 1996. It incorporated Athisa Portugal and Ambimed as subsidiary companies active in the management of health care waste. It has established 3 treatment factories in Portugal: one in Barreiro (Lisbon) in 1996, another in Beja (Alentejo) in 2004 and the third in Oporto in 2005. The company's clients include hospitals, health centres, private and public clinics, veterinary clinics, laboratories, hotels, and pharmacies.
